With broad-based experience from industry and consultant organizations, Peter has gained unique insight into real-life decisions made by general management, project management, operations and strategic planning teams. While a Senior Director of IS Sales and Commercial Effectiveness at pharmaceutical manufacturer sanofi-aventis, Peter drew upon various internal organizations to develop customer-centric solutions that would reduce costs and increase operational efficiencies. For example, Peter successfully delivered a Closed Loop Marketing (CLM) strategy that reengineered several of the company’s sales and marketing processes while providing value to its client health care professionals. He also developed an innovative order management strategy that consolidated processes and systems, while allowing dynamic modification of promotional and educational materials to meet the specific needs of customers. Peter also served as Director of IS Marketing and Business Strategy for sanofi-aventis, during which time he provided IS solutions and best practices that created cost synergies and increased value for the business. His efforts included delivering an $8M Patient Relationship Management platform that consolidated patient marketing data across the leading eight brands to ensure that relevant marketing messages are delivered to appropriate patients. He also developed an event management system for the sales force that enables speaker event setup, and tracks all promotional spending against the events and brand-specific budgets. Peter graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in Economics. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, music and golf.
