Location: Boston, MA Job Description: The Engagement Manager is responsible for managing relationships with key client stakeholders, and the staff engaged on the assigned project, with subject matter expertise in Measurement. He or she owns client retention and growth, as well as new business opportunity identification and development. Functional expertise in the Life Sciences Sales & Marketing is a plus. Pay Description: commensurate with experience Responsibilities Include: Client Management and Development - Act as a strategic leader and advisor to Pursuit Consulting’s clients to deliver value and ensure the highest level of satisfaction
- Identify growth opportunities in the existing client relationships, and maintain baseline business and annual growth against defined revenue and margin goals
- Actively listen and interpret the needs of clients to formulate appropriate recommendations and identify new areas in which Pursuit Consulting can provide value-add services
- Develop presentations and proposals that address client requirements and objectives with recommendations
- Partner with Project Management to scope and deliver on proposed solutions
- Support Project Management’s governance of projects and client deliverables, and manage the client to the scope of work or change order
- Present recommendations to client and actively manage client response to hone recommendations into viable solutions
- Ensure fulfillment of scoped deliverables meets quality and time expectations
Relationship Marketing and Marketing Analytics Consulting
- Provide direction on metrics and measurement plan definitions in collaboration with Pursuit Consulting's Performance Analysts
- Plan and deliver communications to client stakeholders, vendors and partners and internal team members
Position Requirements: - Quantitative background with experience or education in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Life Sciences, or Economics
- Working knowledge of Reporting and Analytics within the Marketing and Sales environment
- Strong working knowledge of project management fundamentals
- 5+ years of experience in managing mid to large engagements across sales and marketing project lifecycles and service delivery lines
- 5+ years of engagement or account management experience in Marketing, Sales and / or Customer Relationship Management
- Comprehension of People, Process and Technology frameworks to deliver client recommendations
- Strong persuasion, negotiation and presentation skills
- Experience developing and presenting proposals that reflect and address client requirements and business objectives
- Experience working with and presenting to Director and VP level clients
- Experience demonstrating Sales Force Automation, Customer Relationship Management and Reporting & Analytics Solutions to potential and existing clients
- A Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
Travel: - Position requires regional travel and occasional national travel
- On-site presence predominantly at our Boston, MA office
