Project Specialist (NJ)

Job Description:

Seeking Project Specialist to become a member of the Pursuit Consulting project team tasked with defining, implementing and supporting various marketing initiatives of a major division of a leading Pharmaceutical company in Bridgewater, NJ. This position is a combination of three roles supporting the business: executive support, data analyst and project manager.

Qualified candidates must have the following characteristics: professionalism, initiative, enthusiasm, flexibility, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, writing and communication skills and can work effectively on a team. Ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker who enjoys working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

This is a contractor position with an estimated duration of at least 6 months, with potential for full-time hire after 3 months. On-site presence required at client’s location in NJ.

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in Client Relationship Management and/or Project Management or related discipline.
  • Background/Expertise in Marketing and/or Pharmaceutical industry desired.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio and other project management tools a must.
  • Proven experience communicating information both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Education Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree

Essential Duties:

  • Support varied efforts carried out by Pursuit team members.
  • Responsible for analyzing metrics to improve processes and effectively communicate alternate solutions.
  • Responsible for project risk identification and mitigation and communications plan.
  • Ensure all documents and presentations for client adhere to Pursuit Consulting’s standards, processes, policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, including documentation and meeting management.
