Location: Irvine, CA Job Description: This individual will be working on site in at a Health Care company, in a client facing role. They will interface with clients, both senior to junior level, to gather requirements and manage communications with service providers and the client stake holders.
Responsibilities May Include: - Work closely with client stakeholders and vendors to gather and document requirements
- Define new processes and analyze existing processes for weaknesses and recommend improvements
- Contribute to and manage a communication plan that supports networking efforts between project team members to ensure that the project team is provided clear and correct information in a timely manner
- Develop a project schedule and supporting plan and ensure adherence to the plan by all project participants
- Manage project risks and issues
- Mediate problems encountered by team members
- Report project progress to management
- Ensure adherence to sponsor’s standards, processes, policies, and procedures
Requirements: - Minimum 3 years experience as a business analyst
- Associates or Bachelors degree
- Experience working in a Health Care organization or as a service provider to a Health Care organization is a plus
- Knowledge of medical legal and regulatory process a plus
- Understanding of project management methodology (PMBOK, or similar)
- Experience creating requirements documentation
- Comfortable using MS Project 2003 or higher
- Comfortable using Visio or Omnigraffle to interpret existing, and to diagram new, swim lane process flows
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word, Excel
- Flexibility and resourcefulness are essential
- Healthcare project experience a plus
Additional Qualifications: - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills
- Ability to work under defined structures, but also to self-structure where needed
- Scrupulous attention to detail
- Ability to create complex project plans with integrated project steps, many with multiple sub-plans
- Working in an Agile Project Management capacity a plus
