Sr. Change Management Consultant

Location: Portsmouth, NH Position Summary: The Sr. Change Management Consultant guides our executive-level clients through significant change in their organization. Using Pursuit Consulting’s Spring Board and Value-Tracking™ methodologies, this individual leads the client in advancing their interests through Agile sprints, allowing the business to take iterative steps towards their desired outcomes, while minimizing negative impact on the business resulting from distraction and lack of clarity. This individual maintains a strategy and process first, technology second method, to ensure that the technology maps to the strategy, and not the other way around. The Consultant also manages a robust communications plan to ensure that all areas of the business are aware and knowledgeable of the initiative’s desired outcomes, their role driving the outcomes, and the progress against the plan. Responsibilities: This individual works hand in hand with the client and leads team members applying Pursuit Consulting’s change management methodology: - Springboard: Outcomes defined and prioritized
- Roadmap created for achieving objectives in areas of People, Process, Data and Technology
- Readiness Scorecard at the Department, Provider and Individual levels to determine roles and responsibilities, and who will be Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed (RACI) in order to deliver the prioritized Outcomes
- Communication Plan for the Executives, Managers, Project Stakeholders, and 3rd party Providers, with frequency, method and intent defined
- Staff Profiling using personality and skill assessment tools to ensure alignment with roles
- Sprints defined in 6-week to 6-month periods leading towards defined Outcomes
- AS IS and TO BE process flows defined, with Measurement Plan and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Training Plan: Typically executed in ‘Pilot’ mode, then ‘train-the-trainer’ to ensure adoption from within
- Value Tracking™: Track adoption and compliance with systems and process by tracking and scoring individual and departmental use of the systems and data in the system to ensure optimization is ongoing and to track ongoing Requirements / enhancements requested
Skills and Capabilities: The ideal candidate will have: - An MBA or a Bachelors Degree complemented with extensive Fortune 500 or Management Consulting experience
- Minimum 10 years of consulting experience or executive industry experience in a Fortune 500 firm related to successful delivery of change management initiatives
- Experience in a retail or consumer packaged goods environment, including supply chain, ERP, CRM and Business Intelligence functional experience – experience with SAP installations a plus
- Experience managing a communications plan that spans from the executive stakeholders to the business units of the organization
- Global corporate experience
- Business process management experience including: process mapping, quality control, training and development
